Timber Doors
Custom Precision Joinery Ltd manufactures a complete range of bespoke external doors to create the perfect entrance to your home. Available in a wide range of timber all doors are manufactured traditionally using modern machinery to ensure quality and accuracy Custom Precision Joinery also specialise in Sliding-Folding Doors, Patio, Stable and French Doors to complement and enhance any project.
Timber doors are now seen as the focal point of your home and not just for security, traditional exterior timber doors are as good as PVC doors for security and probably more aesthetically pleasing.
Most of our purpose made doors can be manufactured using laminated sections to ensure greater stability. In common use throughout the continent, but rare in Britain is the use of engineered timber for door sections. This multi-layer structure is particularly effective in resisting warping and twisting as the opposing grains even out natural moisture movement. Many other technical innovations are included in our external doors such as superior glazing systems, improved drainage and ventilation techniques, modern hardware, advanced paint finishes and simply better build quality.
All doors feature multi-point locking mechanisms to Association of British Approved standards featuring hook bolts and deadlock, with French doors also fitted with strong, unobtrusive flush bolts.
We also specialise in timber bi-fold doors which make a unique design statement. There are many combinations available which allow the complete opening of the aperture. The result is a liberating feeling of open plan living, which really breaks down the barriers between home and garden.
Versatile and stylish, the system is available fully finished. You can even add a flush floor track so that you can enjoy a completely unobstructed walkway.
Bi-fold doors also form an attractive and practical division between the house and the conservatory as a means to maximise the extra space that a conservatory provides and to close off the conservatory on cold winter evenings.
