All our hardwood conservatories are designed and manufactured by our own staff and
in our own factory. Our bespoke conservatory design team allow you to create both
traditional and contemporary hardwood conservatories that will result in a unique
and enhancing addition to your home. A member of the team will consult with you,
plan and design your new conservatory and help to ensure that the end result is
just right for you.

We use high quality hardwood timber sections, incorporating traditional skills with
the very latest technologies. You can expect consistent quality, whether you are
improving a modern house or extending a period or listed building.

We love wood. It is a natural resource. Our stocks are sourced from sustainable
forests and wood is fast becoming the popular choice for the environmentally aware
customer, on account of its green credentials. Wood is warm and welcoming, traditional
and tough. The elegant lines and subtle designs that can be created in wood make
it the building material to choose.

With wood, you have a vast range of choice, styles and design. The sections, seals,
glazing and CNC technology that have evolved in our 25 years of joinery production,
have enabled us to design an “A” rated thermal window. This design has been incorporated
into our conservatories and will now allow you to enjoy levels of warmth, security,
noise reduction and minimal maintenance that could only be dreamed of when we first
started a quarter of a century ago!

We take great care to select wood that is flexible, resistant to rot, fungus and
moisture penetration and which will weather well. The main leap forward, however,
came with machinery that allowed us to create tighter joints, incorporate rainwater
drainage designed into the sections and this, coupled with the latest wood treatments,
stain and paint finishes, allows us to confidently offer a full guarantee of up
to 10 years on materials and workmanship and up to 30 years against rot or fungi
– the exact duration will depend on the wood and finish you choose.

Once built your conservatory will largely look after itself. The roof requires the
minimum of maintenance and the timbers only occasional staining, even less if painted.
|
|
We only use traditional concrete footings and insulated block or brick walls in
our conservatory basework, designed to complement the house you live in. Just laying
a slab will not do for us, your conservatory is a large investment. We respect that
and also the fact that the conservatory, however well it is made, is only as good
as the basework it sits on.

The conservatory will be built to Building Regulations guidelines and we can assist
with Planning applications, should they be necessary.
